Count the sellers in your database.
Add a CSV export from your CRM. This page counts past appraisals, open-home attendees and landlords, merges duplicates and sets opt-outs aside, all in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
1. Export from your CRM
In Contacts, select the contacts, then choose Export, Data Export, and tick the fields. It needs the export permission from a Super Admin, and Rex records every export in its audit log.
Fields to include: Tags, Mobile, Email, Last Contacted Date, Do Not Contact and the SMS and email blocks. Names are not needed: leave them out.
Menu names vary by version; your CRM’s help centre has the exact steps.
2. Add the file

- It is read on this computer.
- A background process in your browser reads the rows. The page receives counts and tag names, never a contact.
- This page cannot send anything.
- The page's security policy blocks every outgoing connection (connect-src 'none'), and the worker that reads the file is served with its own Content-Security-Policy so it cannot fetch either. The file stays on this computer. The page still loads its own script, style, font and worker from this site.
- It works offline.
- Load the page, turn off your Wi-Fi, then add the file.
- Nothing is kept.
- Closing the tab, or clearing the count, removes the file. Nothing is stored in the browser either.
- One caution.
- Browser extensions can read any page you open. If your office policy requires it, use a browser profile without extensions.
Why some contacts need a consent check.
Marketing by SMS or email needs consent. Without a tick box, consent can only be inferred from a clear, current relationship, and it fades as the relationship gets older.
An open-home registration is usually a buyer enquiry, so those contacts are counted apart until your sign-in forms and your lawyer confirm what they agreed to. Past appraisals and landlords last in touch more than two years ago are set aside for the same check.
